Update: Impact of the Niigata Prefecture Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake
Resumption of production
Mazda Motor Corporation previously announced that it had suspended production at its Hiroshima and Hofu plants until Monday, July 23. This is because a parts maker, damaged during the Niigata Prefecture Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake of Monday, July 16, had suspended its parts supply.
We would like to inform you that Mazda will resume production, effective Monday, July 23, as follows:
Production Resumption Schedule
Hofu plant: Monday, July 23; production resumes with the nightshift
Hiroshima plant: Tuesday, July 24; production resumes with the dayshift
